Coburn Place

Volunteers

"I feel that I get as much if not more out of volunteering, than they might from any help I give them! I am very happy and proud to be part of the Coburn "family". -- Sandy Stuaan, Coburn Place volunteer

Volunteers are an important component to the Coburn Place program. Committed and compassionate volunteers help tutor children, answer phones, plant flowers, decorate apartments and plan fundraising events.

Thank you for your interest in joining the Coburn Place team of volunteers. In just four easy steps, you can start sharing your time with Coburn Place.

Step 1. Complete and submit the volunteer application

Step 2. Contact Leanne Schaub at leanne@coburnplace.org or 317-923-5750 to schedule a volunteer interview.

Step 3. Participate in a volunteer orientation and training session. The next orientation sessions will be:

Step 5. Once you have completed Steps 1-4, check your calendar and schedule yourself for a volunteer shift using our online calendar. Thank you!

Student Volunteers

Does your teacher or professor require community service hours? Coburn Place can accommodate a limited number of student volunteers interested in supporting after-school activities for children (Monday-Thursday 6-8pm).

If you are committed to sharing at least 20 hours of service, please complete a volunteer application and plan to attend an orientation session.

If you need additional information, please contact Leanne Schaub at 317-923-5750 or leanne@coburnplace.org.
