Long-time Coburn Place draftnik, Phil Stoffregen, introduced Colts Head Coach, Jim Caldwell, to more than 350 in attendence at the 2009 Blue Breakfast.

If you attended Blue Breakfast, then you definitely are! This year’s event took place just before the NFL draft, so we decided to borrow from the pros for our theme.
The morning began with breakfast, of course, silent auction bidding and raffle ticket buying. Bob Lamey (“The Voice of the Colts”), with help from Coburn Place kids, got everyone warmed up with a fun game of heads or tails. Coburn Place teammates Angela Cain (WTHR Community Affairs Director), Lianne Somerville (Coburn Place Executive Director), Jim Caldwell (Indianapolis Colts Head Coach) and Julian Harrell (Indiana School of Law – Indianapolis student and former Coburn Place resident) took turns rallying the crowd for support. Together we raised more than $75,000 to support the women and children of Coburn Place! Many thanks to our sponsors, volunteer committee and attendees - go team!
