What do you get when you combine a loyal friend, a depleted pantry and magic boxes? An outpouring of love! Kevin Kirk - the loyal friend - has been coming to Coburn Place for many years with Boy Scout Troop 615 to help residents and staff celebrate Thanksgiving. Our storage space - the depleted pantry - was running critically low on many of the items we need to make our apartments feel like homes for our women and children. White containers (seen filled to the brim in the photo on the left) - the magic boxes - were part of a very special project that Kevin and his co-workers at Drexel Interiors undertook. Guided by our wish list and their desire to "cover Coburn Place with love", our friends filled those boxes each day with many wonderful items. Each night the boxes were emptied, and each day they were miraculously re-filled. They collected so many things that they had to send a truck to deliver them! Thank you to all our friends at Drexel Interiors for their generosity!
