We've had the very good fortune to be gifted with a ladies Rolex watch, which retails for $17,450! While it would be great fun to take turns wearing it, it certainly isn't the proper use for it. So, we've decided to maximize its impact for Coburn Place families and hold a raffle.

Today we celebrated our third 2013 Adopt an Apartment Sponsor with our good pals from WIFSIndy (Women in Insurance and Financial Services). Jenny Sisson and Nancy Wilson swung the fancy purple hammer and and sealed the deal outside Coburn Place apartment #209.

During a season when there's already so much to be thankful for, we are so pleased to announce that Coburn Place was awarded a $75,000 grant from The Glick Fund, a fund of Central Indiana Community Foundation!

Today we kicked off an exciting new community program - the Adopt an Apartment sponsorship! Our friends Larry Blackerby and Betty Allen from RTV6 and Jeff and Kit Martin from Irish Mechanical Services represented their companies as our inaugural sponsors.

You may have seen the NO MORE logo popping up lately. Indiana is taking a unified stand against domestic violence and sexual assault and shouting "No more!" Earlier this month the Domestic Violence Network launched this powerful campaign. Jeanette, a Coburn Place alum and domestic violence survivor, shared her story and her plea to others in need of help.

CoburnFest! 2012 has come and gone, but everyone is still smiling. Not only was it the best CoburnFest! yet, it was the most successful, too!

When an incident of domestic violence that took place in Indianapolis on February 17 involved a shooting, RTV6 turned to Coburn Place for expert insight. Executive Director, Julia Kathary, offered a message of caution and hope.

A surge in women completing the Coburn Place program has resulted in a critical need for home furnishings!

Light the candles. Make a wish... We wish for no more domestic violence. We also wish you'll join us as we celebrate 15 years of safe haven with a party!
